Spread out the damaged fabric on a firm surface (ironing board). The patch has the iron-on coating on the front. The patch is ironed on the inside with sufficient overhang behind the lock. For delicate fabrics, set the iron to the maximum permitted temperature and iron for approx. 25-30 seconds. Turn inside out and leave to cool for 5 minutes. Then iron for approx. 25-30 seconds. Allow the fabric to cool well before use. Only iron on dry - without a damp cloth - without steam!
